I appreciate the questions. I wouldn't have posted if I hadn't ran through all the normal things it could've been. It was unlike anything I've seen. I won't forget it any time soon. And I'm all keyed up still, it felt weird seeing it.

I hear that. You'd be surprised how many people are unaware of the fact that satellites can be seen with the naked eye so, always worth a mention.

.. but I swear I just saw a UFO. like a for real, can't explain wtf I just saw. It was bright white, perfectly circular, moving ridiculously slowly, then as I watched it, it slowly shrank and just disappeared of of view..

definitely sounds like a plane... a plane coming right at you. With their landing spotlights on, they are bright white (brighter than venus) and since it's coming directly towards you instead of flying by from side to side, the point of light doesn't look like it's moving much and the point of light changes in visual elevation slowly for minutes (starting from lower towards the horizon when you first spot it to higher up off the horizon as it gets closer).

alright I posted this in discord but some of you aren't on there and I'm wtf'ing what I just saw hard so this is going here too.

alright. call me crazy or don't believe me..... but I swear I just saw a UFO. like a for real, can't explain wtf I just saw. It wasn't directly overhead, but at an angle to me in the sky. And I Iive in a rural area where there's barely an ambient lighting or traffic. and no, it definitely wasn't a spotlight. It looked like it was very far away, but big.

and it definitely wasn't a meteor. I see those a lot and this was moving way too slow to be one. and it definitely wasn't a plane.

So I'm totally stumped, I definitely saw something, and I don't know what it was.

If you are in Nevada, California or New Mexico, I also wouldn't be surprised if you think you see a UFO bu it's something that was being tested related to a top secret defense contractor or military project.

If you are in California, it could also be a Vandenberg rocket launch. I'd have to research if there were any launches scheduled tonight.

Just found a rocket launch reference. There was a rocket launch from wallops, virginia that might have been visible from WV, but the launch photos make it look like there was still daylight and not a nighttime launch.
