If you like Hunter S Thompson's style of writing, yes. If you don't, then absolutely not. It's crazy and all over the place, really offensive, talks about drugs a lot and about politics in a very frank way. I can just imagine how aghast people were when this first was published!

My husband is also named after Hunter S. Thompson!

My parents taught me never to rely on one newspaper to learn what's going on. The same can be said of history; you can't read just one "side" if you want an accurate picture of events past, or even just the differing opinions of one side. And a lot--a LOT--depends on the ability of the writer(s), and their attitude toward their work.

I think we should save that for when Google actually cripples all the Chrome extensions so they can sell more ads.

I actually don't have a problem with selling ads, but crippling other people to sell ads... no bueno.
