My husband has a long haired black cat and my calico is shorthaired..obviously.

I honestly would have never picked a long hair cat for myself. I have 2 other short hair calicos. The cat gods decided that I needed a long haired one and she just showed up outside my house.

I do not like petting short haired cats I know, I'm strange. I have two long hairs right now, and don't ever want to go back.

ouch. that's terrible. I have a dear family friend who has severe RA and just got her spine fused and has gone through all that. before the surgery her spinal column was collapsing on itself.

We're trying to avoid the fused spine, if possible. We're not even sure the steroid shot will work, but anything is better than what he's going through right now.

I don't know how old he is but my friend is only in her mid to late 50s. It's actually going really well for her, luckily, she already has plans to travel in May But it's a scary surgery
