just say your piece
there's a rule in the NFL rule book that the commissioner can re-start a game

why not just have the Rams and Saints line back up in ATL... same time of the game where the non- penalty happened (less than 2 mins/same spot of the field). the Saints were just going to take three knees and kill the clock after that non-call anyways since the ball would've been at the 1 yd line. of course the FG kicker could miss a chip in 20 yd FG, but chances are (probably 98% Lutz would make that FG). re-start the game at like noon on Super Bowl Sunday. it would probably take all of the 2 mins. Neither team would waste hardly any energy (especially the Saints who would just be kneeling 3 times and kicking a FG). then there would still be over 5 1/2 hrs left until the Super Bowl.

The Saints could've been game planning for the Pats before hand since they'd be at the 1 yd line already against the Rams. 99% chance they would win against LA.

just a thought I had

I hate the NFL after that game. The refs did everything they could to keep the Rams in it. It was appalling and it infuriates me. (Saints fan, can you tell?) If the rules are not going to be followed, I do not care to watch any more of it. I'm certainly not watching the super bowl.

I'm not even a Saints fan and it made me mad. I'm not excited about the Super Bowl. Rams do not belong in the SB

People are saying... well... there were other penalties missed and how the Saints blew a 13-0 lead

when did 13-0 become a huge lead in the NFL? that's two scores

a big lead is 28-3 a la Falcons/Pats. that was a big lead

13-0 is not a big lead

some people make me want to slam my face through a desk

I like the NFL until the Patriots show up and then I'm bored. Can't believe I have to enjoy yet another fabulous cheese dip with that team on the tv again.

The NFL only cares that they have an active controversy about something at all times.
