What an afternoon since I woke up. Chipped a tooth, am headed to the dentist soon to look at it, the best paying survey I have ever caught seems to be for students of a certain university (I'm not sure if the intro page participants section is accurate or not, and I am not willing to risk a rejection if the participants section wasn't changed to include anyone on mturk outside the university), and one decent batch is up with no reviews on the requestor so it's hard to know if I should do tons and rack up the numbers/dollars or if I will have a slew of rejections ruining my 99% aproval rate.

Didn't someone post something about chipping a tooth a while ago, or did you chip your tooth again?

It's a Stanford requester.

They were paying crazy money back in November.
Paying a much much lower (but still fair) wage with new project they launched in the last couple days.

Bit of confusion between the batches.

Also, The post has been edited, once I realized my error. Nobody pointed the finger at anyone, just overly trusted data that I incorrectly interpreted. It's not the attack that it's being made out to be, since I don't subscribe to the "forum wars" that people get into. Data is misinterpreted all the time. No finger was pointed at the users, only the output data.(which I, once again, put too much stock into)

This is my last post on the subject. Feel free to believe or say whatever makes you(everyone collectively) feel better. But, this was never a statement about a userbase or a developer, only a little piece of data that I thought was interesting.

Either way. Light the torches, grab the pitchforks, I guess.

What matters is what they said to you about people putting in nonsense.
They gotta clean that shit up and give us quals.

You can decide you're done with the topic if you want, but the fact is you gave incorrect information to a requester that implied more scamming, which is something that can have repercussions for them and other turkers. That's not something that disappears by editing a post on the forum. But by all means, keep deflecting about this being "forum wars."

you have 504 of them. Make the best of it. Send out a few resumes, stash away a few bucks that you haven't already committed to catching up on bills. Make sure you have a full gas tank so you can take advantage of the freebies in 3 weeks.
