@Jaded this is no comfort to you but my guess is, housekeeping is such a miserable job that work experience is essential to demonstrate that you won't just quit after a week

that comment earlier about the french maid's outfit (don't remember who made it, too lazy to check sorry) reminded me of my friend who got a job in a posh boarding school in edinburgh and that was literally her uniform. she was desperate for money and extremely powerful but even with her strength she couldn't stick it for more than a couple of weeks

Goals:
Stick to this long enough to get a car and run away. (And by run away I mean be able to go to surrounding towns for more job choices.)
