Yay! I did the voting! If anyone hasn't and is having trouble getting there, Uber will give you a free ride to the polling place.:)
lyft was doing the same. i ended up not needing either because a friend has let me borrow a car while mine's out of commission but it was a really cool thing they both did.

I honestly think that it should be subsidized by the government, if Uber and Lyft weren't willing to pay. I don't think that, with all the technological advancements we have these days, anyone that wants to vote should not be able, due to logistical barriers.

Yeah but, say if one party gets more votes from wealthier people, they aren't going to want to spend money to help poorer people who are more likely to have issues finding transportation get to the polls and vote against them. So someone else has to step in and do it otherwise.

I agree that they won't but, they should, imo.:)
