Cleaning my keyboard and reading DOJ docs...I've had worse Saturday nights.

I haven't seen that in over 25 years! :) I was a PC tech back in the day and people used to pay us to disassemble and clean their keyboards. Back when keyboards were sturdy and expensive, and not so disposable like many are today.

Mechanical keyboards ftw.

There's a whole new generation of people that are into well-built, mechanical keyboards now. Once you switch from membrane to mech keyboards, you never go back, the tactile feel is amazing and some of them are built like a tank. I'm pretty sure I could use mine as a deadly weapon.

I even do it with my disposable ones, lol. 5 minutes to save $20. :)

Yeah, I've got a Razer keyboard and mouse and they are super nice. Way better than the cheap junk.

I am a bit of a keyboard snob...this is a G710+ w/ the bumpers off, which I would replace with something more ALPS-like but $$$. At some point I'd like to learn enough about PCBs etc to repair my collection of broken DataDesk keyboards, but it's not pressing enough a task atm.

Hey we're keyboard twins! I have the exact same one but I left the bumpers on. This thing is worth it alone for the programmable keys and that sweet, sweet volume wheel.

I will never use a keyboard without a volume wheel ever again.
