none here
but I looked outside and all of the trees across the street have upside down leaves
so yea, I guess it'll be thundering soon
It'll blow itself out in a few mins, cause Philly.

I love when the leaves turn upside down - ever since I was a kid I'd get a little shiver when I was outside while the storm wind was coming in.

Hi guys. I've lurked here for awhile but never had an account. I made one to comment on this, though.

I'm one of the apparently four people Siva emailed, where he accused me of scripting. Obviously you guys don't know me, but I swear up and down that I was not using a script. I don't know ANY programming languages. I turk sometimes from home, but usually from work during downtime and cannot install anything on this computer even if I did know how. As I told Siva in my reply, my degree is in Liberal Arts, I'm clueless!

But here's the thing: something was up with these validation HITs, but I didn't really clue in to the fact that something wasn't right because I had only done a small handful of the validations before during the last time they popped up and didn't really remember them too well. When I came into the HITs, the amount for the HIT didn't raise in increments as you completed turns like the Q&A's. It instead showed the full amount you would earn. The Finish & Submit button was greyed out like usual. But after doing a certain amount of turns, like in the Q&A HITs, the Finish button became usable. I assumed that meant you were capped, so when it became usable I submitted. Pretty dumb of me looking back; I told Siva that I'm sad now that I didn't realize I should email him at the time. I just assumed these HITs worked differently than the Q&A's.

So anyway, I told him that -- even though it sucks, and he totally doesn't need my persmission -- I don't mind him rejecting the HITs (there were 37 from me, apparently, that were bad). I don't want to waste his money if those were seriously unusable. I should have realized that something was wrong, even though technically I'm pretty sure it's something in his code interacting with my specific versions of Chrome since it seems that it was only 4 out of the 50 stated master chatters so not all the HITs were broken.

Hopefully he's reasonable about things and realizes that almost 10% of his workforce didn't just suddenly start using a script for these validations, which are already quick and awesome as is. But I could see if he thinks it got shared around somewhere. Not much I can do about that. It just really bums me out... these HITs have been a ton of fun for me.

Ugh. Ruined my happy Friday (yay for long weekend, I guess?).
kopete @kopete

email him and explain that.

If you honestly weren't doing shit, lazy work, there's likely a resolution you can come to.

The same thing happened with my finish button, even though the hit wasn't finished, it became clickable. I didn't end up submitting any early, but its understandable why you did.

Ah, good to know someone else can confirm the button was doing that.

Still. I feel sick about the whole thing. I'm the type to self-flagellate. Siva's been a great requester, I hate having contributed to his problem.

I don't know if he works at the bank, Chick-Fil-A, or if that was some sort of elaborate euphemism.
I worked with her at a different restaurant.

I ran into her at the bank

we then went to lunch
