I haven't taken a course with that professor, but other Stanford courses I've taken on Coursera have been very good.

It's still in preview so I can't see if week 2+ tests and projects/peer reviews are locked like other audited courses on Coursera.

BTW for anyone interested in learning new stuff, but maybe not cryptography, the course listed right under it, Internet History, Technology, and Security, is a kickass overview of the history of the Internet etc. and is also free.

Yeah the info is presented really well IMO and Severance is a great video prof. His Python courses are easy to follow, too, though not free. That fundamentals course looks useful, thank you!
