03/05 - Tasteless Tuesday!

I won a 2-night 3-day Staycation at a local casino a couple of months ago. I decided I had better go ahead and book it before I lose it so I'm doing it next week. They have just upgraded all the rooms and I hear they are NICE. I get the stay, a bottle of wine, wine glasses, and $50 in resort credit. I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth, but the food prices are so high there that $50 in resort credit represents the cost of one breakfast and one lunch. This particular place has NOTHING to do if you don't gamble/drink and I noticed the last time I went in to use the ATM they upgraded all their slot machines to a minimum bet of 25 cents (ha, ha, I usually budget $1.00 for gambling). Other casinos have movie theaters, spas, cheaper food, and other things to do right outside their doors. There is free wifi so I'll take my laptop and work from there in a different environment. It's within a few blocks of home so I can always pop home.
