Nah, I feel the open market aspect should always be there, but it doesn't help matters when Amazon (or whatever shell company is running the gig) has no intention of even remotely educating the customers pumping money into them, because why should they?

Their involvement with the whole service is so cryptic, it's a bit silly - from the mythical Masters status, to the way bans are conducted. If someone were to spend time perpetuating rumors of an endless batch of $30 an hour hits, with the only way of reaching them is by maxing yourself out at 666 hits a day for 3 months I'm sure someone would buy it.

HITs below that threshold have a tendency to get downvoted, but there are no money/time restrictions on what can be posted." It seems your suggestion was taken seriously.

A system like that will eventually collapse in on itself. If you pay lower wages, you have less people buying your products and if you put machines in to do all the labor in making your products, you have to hope that someone else will take up the slack for you and hire the workers that you did not, so they can buy the products your machines make. Then your competitors do the same thing, because your products are cheaper than theirs. Eventually you will run out of a good pool of buyers for your product, because no one has a job. This unfortunately seems to be the direction this world is heading in.

And now we see why America is falling out of the lead.

I've tried, numerous times. At one point, they agreed to remove it and not put in any specific amount. Another time, they said they'd insert text about how not everyone agrees about $6/hour. But they've never followed up on either of these agreements, and I can only do so much trying to convince only to be met with no response.
