I don't have PC installed on my computer I've never used it, but someone else should be able to tell you.
Thanks catnapped @catnapped helped me. I feel silly because I know how to do this but my brain is fried right now. It has just been a really stressful few days. Luckily I did back stuff up from the last time you reminded us so I got most if not all of my stuff back. So a big thank you to you as well.

It's general human nature for the brain to be a little more scattered during stress and emergencies... that's why it is important to be prepared BEFORE the emergency hits. Have a plan, rehearse it... back up your data... keep access to sources of information open and up to date... so on and so forth. That way... when the emergency happens you can take care of what is important even when you are completely fried and stressed out.

You'll be fine. Just breathe.

Remember to save your backups externally as well. Totally bit me in the butt the last time I forgot to to that.

Dropbox is what I use. Definitely a good idea to have it backed up on a source that can be accessed from any computer (dropbox also saves version histories of documents as they are changed too...)

This took about 22 mins. for me. The images were loading a bit slowly which may have been due to a problem on my side of things, though.

25 min for me, and yup, last 5 it started seriously dragging, lots of spinning wheel waiting for the next image.

In my former life as a certified network administrator, working for a credit union (supported 6 branches in 4 cities), by NCUA regulation (FDIC, just for credit unions) , we HAD to have offsite backups, in case our server buildings burned down.

For my own stuff, I keep a safe deposit box, and every few months kick a DVD backup into it, just in case. Dropbox is good too. Cloud is good... I sometimes like a hard copy.

Hard copy is good... I generally save that for things that are more important than my mturk data. Although, I do keep my most current backups on dropbox and a usb thumb drive the retired ones go into a compressed storage drive.

:nailbiting: yeah. we were not expecting a tornado in our neighborhood. and although we didn't get the worst of it we still have stuff to fix and neighbors to help, thus why I have not been on in a couple of days. That coupled with taxes, work etc. My brain is just full. I don't know if you ever watched "Married with children" but I feel like Kelly Bundy when she was learning stuff and she said brain full and anything new she learned she lost something else, lol. Oh well. I probably just need a few days to recoup. But I do appreciate your help.
