This is far from universal, unfortunately. Often times you'd need to leave the modem off for a lot longer than 30 seconds -- such as overnight or longer. An alternative is to change the MAC address of your router which will usually result in your being given a new IP address.

Normally a 30 second refresh on a cable model is all you need. I have not seen a provider require more than a minute with cable.

Back in the day I had dyed my hair blue because it seemed like a good idea at the time, and after swimming in a pool, when I came out it looked grey. Like I intentionally dyed my hair to look like an old person.

haha that's actually a thing now apparently....my 19 yr old showed me a picture of how she wanted her hair, it was silvery grey. I thought she was joking. I think I upset her. Anyway good color for a mouse I supposed.
