Using MTurk with AWS Billing

I merged my AWS account with my MTurk account and set up AWS billing so I would no longer have to prepay for MTurk HITs. However, I went to launch a large study today and when I went to publish the HIT, I got an error message: "you have exceed your monthly credit limit, please see our FAQs to learn more." (The FAQs, of course, say nothing)

Anyone know what is going on? Why the heck are there credit limits on fielding studies? Has anyone had success either a) raising their credit limit, or b) somehow prepaying on AWS billing to circumvent this problem?

The problem now is I am permanently stuck with AWS billing. They won't let you go back to prepaid after you change! Uch.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
