Yeah that is from turking money. $450/computer+$22x3/monitors+$320/GTX 970+$40/CoolerMaster Cosmos case.
Monitors came from Goodwill Computer Works as did the case.

I think I did pretty good for around $900 total.

16gig ram
250gig SSD
3TB HD
Nvidia GTX 970

That is awesome that you could get those from the goodwill store!

We have nothing like that around here, and that store doesn't deliver. :(

Yeah, Goodwill is kinda special because they have some stores that focus on computer equipment (only there are much fewer of these than their regular stores), but you can occasionally get lucky at any thrift-type store, or even garage/estate sales. :)
