I usually go to the movies quite often but the past couple of weeks have been so busy. I'm hoping to see Finding Dory this weekend. We will be the two adults up front with our bucket of popcorn watching the Disney Movie with no kids.

I watched Superstar streaming on Netflix. Probably haven't seen it since the 90's. Lmao'd the whole time.

I hadn't seen it since it came out either! Currently watching now.

What are your favorite lesser known quirky character movies? Most people already know about biggies like Airplane, Caddyshack, Animal House, etc.

Here are a few of mine that I highly recommend.

Quick Change
The Frisco Kid
Born in East LA
Real Men
Let It Ride
Mystery Men

Had two free TMO tickets yesterday, saw Finding Dory.... OMG the adorably cute eyes they had on her. :)

Great question! Not sure how obscure they are but I love:

Soap Dish
Bowfinger (and The Jerk)
The Hudsucker Proxy
Waiting For Guffman
The Big Hit
Young Frankenstein (since you had the wonderful The Frisco Kid w/ Gene Wilder!)
Delicatessen

I guess the "quirky" movies I enjoy would be:

Bad Teacher
Bringing Down the House
Election
The Hot Chick
Just Friends
Mean Girls
Napoleon Dynamite
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
Never Been Kissed
Office Space
Overboard
Rushmore
Saved
Sister Act I & II
Tammy
Virgin Suicides
Welcome to the Dollhouse
What's Eating Gilbert Grape

Saw Legend of Tarzan at tonight's showing, I thought it was good overall, lots of action and great story line, only complaint was Tarzan did not have a knife, but like I said it was a good movie and did justice to the books.

Good to hear! Loved the books as a kid and of course the Christopher Lambert Greystoke film. Hope to catch this one this weekend to see how they compare.

All I need to hear is "Eric from True Blood in a loincloth" and I'm there.

Watched Zootopia with the little one today. 0/5 would not recommend. I've never seen a kid's movie so filled with social propaganda.

My sis and I were talking about this yesterday. She really liked it. Said it was scary though and a bit adult for Disney! Not sure how little ones would feel about it.

Star Trek Beyond coming July 21. Yay or nay? Are you happy to see the series continue or do you hope they end it?

I for one will see it. I have enjoyed the reboots so far!

One of the greatest TV shows of all time finally has a movie version coming out in the US in a few weeks. YAY! :wine:

Anyone else excited to see Ab Fab on the big screen?
