I know, I know, but it's the celebration of the season, of the coming of the sun, etc (at least this is how I try to think of it from reading about the history). I think it's important to remember how connected we are to things like the sun, the earth, the animals ( as opposed to only Walmart, Amazon, etc).

Merry Christmas everyone! My kids had a great Christmas, got everything they wanted, and more. Our bellies are full and so are our hearts. I've been up since 1am and my house doesn't have a spot in it that isn't a disaster and it'll be left until the morning, haha. It was an amazing day.
