Well ... took some handmade cards over to my neighbor yesterday who has a small store on the main drag of our area. He asked me to make cards for him to sell promoting our local cat welfare programs. He wanted to share costs with me but I said no. This was a good way for me to get work out there and he does enough to help me out with our local community cats. I had made some for fall and Halloween earlier. He told me yesterday that those sold, all but one, for 12 and 14 $$. I nearly fainted. They are intricate, take a lot of time, and are more like gifts than cards but ... I'm shocked. On the other hand, I hope they make folks happy and help some kitties along the way.
