FYI, if you are a current Comcast customer: Comcast to enforce 1.2TB data cap in entire 39-state territory in early 2021

TL;DR: If you live in any of the states below, Comcast will be enforcing its 1.2TB monthly data cap from most of its markets to every state that Comcast operates in starting January 2021. Overage charges are $10 per additional 50GB (max $100) per month or you can buy unlimited data for $30/month.

New states added: Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Parts of VA and OH that weren't already under the 1.2TB data cap will also be added.

My internet is through Spectrum, and while they're terrible, the one thing I'm thankful for is that they don't have a data cap and aren't allowed to enforce one for at least a few more years. It's pure greed to enforce one during a pandemic when so many people are stuck at home and learning/working using their own internet.
