11/13 - Transitions Tuesday!

I've been doing them for years, and I'm pretty efficient with them. What you see the vets achieve isn't what the new people are going to achieve any time soon. You'll be dealing with a lot of throttling and server lag, its always been like that regardless of new people. Its really a toss up, I mean I'm not going to sell you on the batch or anything. A lot of people give up because o of the throttling or because they can't get good at them. Which is the primary reason I'm not concerned about the horde of new people. Some will get decent at them, others will get their qual ripped, some will get burnt out, some can't stand the throttling. Not trying to be a dick about it.

Thanks. Yeah, if how long it took tonight to submit is normal, I will be severely disappointed. We shall see.

Metallica, do you have multiple tabs open or other strategies like that? Or do you just ride the throttle wave?

More tabs, really, just makes it worse on everyone overall. They only lagged on rare occasions back in the day. You could multitab with impunity.

I didn't like them very much back then either.

No, but you do learn to do long writing tasks in a notepad or something and then to copy and paste.

Well, actually, I *thought* I had lost it, but I hadn't. Still couldn't submit it in either browser. Sent a message but the transcript was way too long to include through the system. ( thought I had close notepad without saving, didn't remember saving it but there it is )

The hit is missing, I think Turk gave it to someone else while I was working on it.
