Howdy all. Work has kept me plenty busy lately. Not much time for turking. Yesterday I had the extremely rare Sunday afternoon off. My two year old is obsessed with airplanes and rockets, so we took her to the park to watch airplanes get low for landing (airport is about 20-30 miles away) and to fly a giant styrofoam plane I bought for her. Turns out parents at their kids soccer tournaments get really pissed when those things fly into their kids' game.

another fun thing to do if the park is reasonably sized and there is no soccer game going on is model rockets. Buy an Estes model rocket of not too difficult build level, build the rocket with her, explain to her the principle of the Estes chemical model rocket motor and go shoot it off at the park. It was fun when I was a kid to do that at my nearby park.

Oh yes, that is the next project. I've been researching it quite a bit. I've slowly come to terms with the fact that all of my turk money is going to her anyways. Next up is a nice telescope for star and moon gazing.
