Most of them end up on the floor by morning, but it's just comfy to me when I'm falling asleep.

Spend more time in bed. I find that as I spend more and more time in bed, doing stuff like watching tv, using a laptop, reading, etc, my need for extra pillows seems to increase at an almost exponential rate.

I hardly leave anymore, with the studying for [redacted] and the lack of working and the new TV as a second monitor for the laptop. Two pillows is still plenty.
The only logical explanation here is that no one ever taught you the proper way to be lazy. To be honest, I'm kinda amazed that you've made it this far in life without knowing such a thing.
