where I live we start school the monday after labor day, get thursday and friday off for thanksgiving, about 8 days for christmas/new years, one week off in the spring around easter, and then off from mid june until after labor day again

I'm up to 4 dollars in about an hour so far this morning. I know that isn't great for some of you, but after this slow weekend, it's pretty nice. There's been a couple of dollar hits and a bunch of 50c hits that aren't getting snapped up before I can do them.

that's how it's done here with the few schools locally that are year round - they have more breaks, their breaks are in different places on the school calendar compared to the traditional schools and the breaks that are weeks long instead of just a day or two outside of winter or spring breaks.

tbh by the end of summer break as a kid I was always bored out of my mind. I don't think I could handle 3 full months of it lol
