I'm so sad and mad right now, I went down the street to get some cheap burgers at McD
and there was this guy sitting back near the dumpsters with his head down and appeared to be crying
so I went over and asked if he was OK, and he said he had just had some guys take his last $12 and kicked him
and he was going to go into McD and get something to eat

So I said come on let's go eat, and he did not want to, but I really insisted, so we go into the place and the manager comes up and says for us to leave, that she did not want our kind in there

I said, "HOLD THE FUCK UP!" 'What kind are you referring to?"
the asshole said "Poor and homeless" I went off on her and told her firstly "I am not homeless, yet!" and that she is not the authority on who is homeless and who is not.

cut a long story short I got her supervisors name and number and will call tomorrow as well as corporate.
so anyway I told the guy let's go to a better place to eat, so we went to Wendy's and had no problem

another thing that pisses me off, is the parking lot was full of people when this happened to him and not one person tried to help or ask if he needed something.

so fuck people that are greedy assholes.
it was my last $40 at the moment but ya got to help sometimes.

Good for you, standing up to some useless, prejudging manager. I hope you take a moment to post it on some social media. Then you'll really get the response that you, and all people who are discriminated against, deserve. Too bad you didn't get to eat at McD's with the guy though. Then he would have legally been allowed to hang out for 3 hours eating his food in peace. I hope everyone who treats somebody like that ends up in that same position someday. And I hope that they get to be dehumanized by the group that they once thought they were a part of. People who get some minor bit of power then over-reach with it to prop themselves up and demean someone else are some of the lowest form of scumbag out there, and they make us all look bad, as people. Seriously post it on twitter with a few hashtags and I'm happy to retweet. Someone will definitely get fired and maybe you can affect some change.

EDIT I used to go to my local soup kitchen because I liked the clients(homeless). They were nice people and really helped to ground me in the real world. Once a week, I'd ask one or two out to get some food somewhere else. I'd take them to a restaurant and pay, and we'd have a great time. They would get to feel human again, even if it was just for a bit.

So, another I call the police story.

Yesterday at the volunteer position (food pantry), I went out because there was shouting. The very small lot was full of cars and one lady I know (she comes in often) was swearing and yelling You are hitting my car.
The porch was full of people screaming. the guy was backing into her car and yelling I didn't hit you.
So, he backed again -a few feet -and hit her car again.
I looked in the window - passenger side - and said: Yes, I can see you hitting her. He said, No. I said, I'm sorry (aren't I nice?) but I'm afraid you did.
So, he backed into her car again.
Anyway, cops called (I actually didn't call them, but they took my name). He has no insurance.
They tell him not to drive without insurance.
Take report.
And let him walk to wherever.
They don't tow car.
Ain't Vt lenient.................

I do appreciate some leniency in police policy, but that's WAY too lenient! Oh my God!
