Can someone help me understand PRE's?? In layman...simple to understand terms?? is there a good Idiot's guide out there?? Everything I have searched so far just does not make me understand them well enough

PRE- Page Request Error. It is basically how many requests you are making to the Turk Home page. It gets upset when you make too many requests at once and will error out. This happens if you have too many scripts running that cause requests to MTurk (HitFinder, Panda Crazy, Hit Catcher. Overwatch, etc.) or have bad ping to MTurk's servers or a combination of the two. The optimal page request rate is said to be 1000ms. I have found that my system likes it to be a little bit longer than that on some days and on other days I can do more. It varies. You just have to find a request speed throughout your scripts that ping the MTurk servers to not overload it.

No, it shows an error in the console when I go to submit the HIT. Bunch of code shows up at the top of the screen.

Weird though, they work fine on Firefox. Just a kind of a pain to have to hop over and do them in a different browser.

it's a page request error. you can't spam amazon with x number of requests for a particular page every second (it would overload the system if we were all doing it -- )

So, it's like a hiccup! If amazon gets too many requests from you - it sort of doesn't let it go through and stops you - as a PRE. And you wait a second or two - for the request to then be submitted.

It slows down batch work and slows down a panda.
