I tried ginger tea which helped for like fifteen minutes. Had a lot of water like usual. Didn't eat anything I can think of that bothers me. I wish I did have some peppermint somewhere, but I don't think I do. Oooh! I might have peppermint tea!

I found some mint tea, so hopefully it helps. That is, if I don't choke on it and die first. It won't help me if that happens. My cat, who saw and heard me coughing, sat up super alert with big eyes, and started meowing with a concerned "?", I swear to god. It was so cute. lol
