I had a friend who turned me onto that book, Celestine Prophecy, and after I was like "yea, that was pretty cool" she was like "ok, you get it, listen, I've got some friends you need to meet"

so anyway, I went to the diner and met two of her crazy friends, and they literally talked for over two hours about the stuff in the book, and how they wanted to make a trip to go to south america, and all sorts of other stuff like that.

it was sounding like the beginnings of a cult, and I was afraid they were going to ask me to drink some koolaid sooner or later, so I got out of there as fast as I could.

I mean, the book was pretty neat, but they were taking it way too seriously. they were talking about it as if the entire thing was real, seeing auras, all sorts of nonsense. I was genuinely scared for my life that night
