I just got told my power is going off in 30-45 minutes for some reactivation bs... and it's 113 degrees outside. It'll be off for 2 hours.

Do I die now? ...or go outside into the world. Tough decision.

I would probably freeze some "cold pads" (wash cloths soaked and freezed) so you can put them on your face or arms or whatever and try to stay cool for the 2 hours until your power returns. Inside should be cooler than outside for awhile (but not by much) so I don't think I'd go outside during the outage.

Pretty darn nice day today for me as I ended up snagging some good surveys and 3 User Tests; my User Interview study (the one that happened) was very pleasant, didn't require the webcam, and, the $50 Amazona gift card came within an hour of completion. That gift card arrived so promptly that I don't have an Amazon order in my basket ready to go! First time ever!

Mayhaps this is indicating the end of the dreaded Summer doldrums (?)
