The sky is indeed falling!

As you may have read online or heard on the news, there was a software update to a security product called Crowdstrike which is affecting industries across the globe. Ohio State is among those affected, and you will likely see ripple effects in systems and on computers that are Windows-based as IT teams across campus develop workarounds to restore technology services across all campuses. As this is so widespread and many services are impacted, any technology services you have trouble accessing may have this global outage as the root cause. Systems that support critical services such as Public Safety and the Wexner Medical Center are being prioritized.

Gosh, Woot delayed the WOOTOFF - I don't know if the global IT crisis was responsible - glad I didn't set my alarm for 5 a.m. though!
