Good Morning my sibs. Happy Fathers Day. Can't wait to go visit my father in a little bit and give him his gift and cook his dinner and hang like we do everyday.

Great to even get to see you. I was chilling out here yesterday, replied to Jaded's how are you doing message, did a HIT, my computer was sluggish doing it so it indicated it was time to reboot my windows PC to get it working good again. Powered down, it wouldn't power back up. I know i've had a flakey power button for a year or two but I've always been able to get it to power up within 10 power button presses. It just would not turn on at all and I even tried 50 presses and no go.

Found some recommendations in Internet search about what to try, did those, nada. Found out a new power button assembly is $30. Decided I'd try the mod I came across about attaching wires to the switch pins on the motherboard and shorting them to turn on and off the PC. I decided to try that and it worked, so I made a permanent modification. My PC is 5 years old so what do I care that I have to touch two wires together to start and turn it off?

I think I need to change my username to MacGyver. ?

Certainly better than the $14 from a few weeks ago. I hope it's reasonably busy in the mornings this week like the past week.
