I run multiple websites for multiple clients. HostGator has a first month hosting package for 1 cent that is great for beginners, and you can usually get a domain from Godaddy for 99cents with some Googling coupon codes.

I didnt get redirected either...however if you open the "click here if you werent redirected" link...it'll open in a new tab and the code you are supposed to submit will be at the end of the URL.

i signed up for a domain on 1and1
and the blog host is on Ghost.io

i was unfamiliar with ghost until last week, but the DNS should still connect with it

it’s a blog like wordpress or any other blog site out there

I think it has to do with DNS settings in 1and1. specifically their CNAME settings

ive been trying to fix this for a week now blegh

I didnt get redirected either...however if you open the "click here if you werent redirected" link...it'll open in a new tab and the code you are supposed to submit will be at the end of the URL.

I tried opening it in a new tab and window, and both just went to error pages for me. I wrote them a big paragraph and included a screenshot in the comment box so hopefully no issues there. Thanks for the reply, glad you got a code.

For USPS shows a picture of your letter/package and the day it is scheduled or was delivered. This is really helpful, it even shows the junk mail
For UPS get tracking of packages scheduled to your address and notification when actually delivered.

I can’t get the domain I registered on 1and1 to connect to the blog on Ghost. I can get it to forward to my blog but it still doesn’t use the url I registered on 1and1 - its still the ghost blog url. Not sure if I’m making sense

I will paypal you $10 and give you all the login info if you could fix this lol

I’ve never had this amount of trouble on any other domain hosting site

yeah i have. the problem i’m facing though is i can’t get a 1and1 CNAME to point to a WWW. it makes no sense whatsoever why they wouldn’t allow that

@PeachyRider if you hate 1 and 1 you can always transfer your domain over to Namecheap. Ghost and Namecheap seem to work well together, I believe.
