I hate that...I had my laptop fry 2 months ago and I was not thinking when I backed up the files, I put them on the laptop (instead of a the external drive) so backing them up helped with browser issues, but not entire computer issues. Took about a week to get things right again. I was not a fan.

Is the hard drive doing anything? Making any sounds or is it just booting up to a black screen and not doing anything? If the hard drive's not even kicking in then the motherboard could be toast.

I apologize. I had a better morning today than I've had in the past 2 weeks so I messed it up for everyone else. The system is that if I do poorly everybody else does great and vice versa
