I just bought a steamer mop for 30.00 (that's with shipping) from direct tools (It won't last forever. It violates my buy it for life rule. But I bought it anyway....) They have a bunch of great deals on hoovers (they are factory 'blemished' but come with full warranty) - in case anyone is in the market for one.

how's the steamer mop? i don't believe what i see on infomercials about effectiveness and ease of use of steamer mops.

i'll be surprised if there are many "buy for life" stuff left in our disposable item society where something gets a few years of use until it needs replaced.

years ago, I had a hoover that washed my rugs and it lasted for at least a decade (still was working when I left it behind, I lost it moving - really). I have no idea about the steamer mop, but it was so cheap - I thought I'd give it a try

My coffee maker is buy it for life. Most of my kitchen stuff I've had forever (a Cuisinart that is at least 20 years old, got it at a yard sale. It's the 'good motor'!). I look hard and have been lucky. A few wrong purchases. This mop might be......

am only going to say this and shut myself up. if they take away guns, which won't happen in this country, then only criminals will have guns, which will be a lot of folks. but think. the situation set itself up. there was no one and apparently no one, there to stop this tragedy. if the guy who was young and i remember what young boys like to do, didn't have access to guns, then he'd make a bomb. yeah, okalahoma style and destroy the school in one toss. if someone is inclined to do this, taking away guns will solve nothing. we have to be careful what we ask for because we don't know what we will get. just because the media attempts to program us one way doesn't mean we have to listen. all it would have taken is one TraiNed adult with a firearm to stop this tragedy, but they were not there. that's all i've to say and i'll crawl back in my hole now.
