Being in Tennessee, I can't fathom a BBQ joint that doesn't have "Big" or "Sweet" and some guy's name as it's title (Big Al's, Big John's, Big Ed's, Sweet Baby Rays, Sweet Sal's, you get the idea).

Short distance to food means it's worth taking chances on occasion, yes.

And I feel the same when it comes to food truck sushi.
You gotta REALLY trust the fellas running it, and possibly even have a look inside their truck, if they'll let you.
The guys I talked to in Atlanta were proud of how clean and tidy their truck was, and were willing to show me inside their fridge and all, but that's like... 1 in 10, to maybe 1 in 50 trucks, around here.
