hmmm ... one i did approved immediately. like ... immediately.

Hmm ... maybe there's reasons why i don't go out much. what has happened to the world? first it was the old guy, like probably 80 years old, slinging a firearm on his hip in Walmart. Walmart? yeah, walmart. wasn't making me feel too safe. maybe he was a retired cop, but he didn't have that demeanor. then yesterday, went to local country food restaurant, always a popular place, and there were three burley guys in there and one little girl. as they were checking out we noticed one of the fellows had his daughter at one hip and his glock at the other. ah well, they had the local appearance of deer hunters and whatever the local chapter of hell's angels is these days. maybe it is best to stay home with the covers over my head. and i'm one that really has no problem with firearm concealed carry. i'm an age where we grew up with a shotgun in the back window of every pickup. but this wild wild west thing ... well, it's sliding down the evolutionary scale.

it is the wild west, but it's been like that for years. But yeah, I think it's sliding faster down the evolutionary scale. The cops that are friends of mine know they don't have to carry a glock on their hip to be "a real man". It's the wannabes that do it and then shoot someone b/c they're playing rap music, or perceived as cutting them off in traffic
