I've tried searching how to post a panda in here...but I can't find anything. Is it easy to tell me how to post one? I did it once before and can't remember....lol

Ugh, can you poke them all day so they sleep at night?
I poke them in the evenings but I’m typically gone from home for 12+ hours a day.... which is why I need sleep so bad..

You're gone 12 hours a day? Babies need attention like humans do. I once had a mother cat who's last litter, we took her in and spade her after she had those, had one little fellow who was quite dumb. He could function in the house but was not too bright. I watched this mom take her baby aside and groom him and talk with him, if he cried she was there. She ignored the others if they cried for too much attention as they were now older, but whatever this guy needed she was at his side. After these sessions i watched the cat's IQ spark and rise. And thought wait a minute, something's happening here. The Internet was young in those days. But still viable so I looked it up and found an article, don't remember where, long time ago, that said if a mom cat pays attention to her kitties with extra grooming and care, it raises their intelligence level by changing the dna. Oh if we mere humans could be so smart.

I’m aware they need attention, they are the center of my universe. I play with them all night when I’m home. Life is hard right now and I’m doing what I can so I can still have them. They’ve already upgraded- they had to spend three months in separate dog crates and only got to come out to play a few times a week.

However, back when people were home all the time and they had free roam of the house they were still assholes at night. My ex and I locked them out of the bedroom at night because of this exact situation. I just don’t have that luxury now.

Don't feel bad. I remember reading how hard it was for you finding a place to live and having to keep the cats in the room and all that.

Many of the most important things I've learned in life are from cats and the people who help me care for them. Those are valuable relationships and i would not trade them. Cats are intelligent beings, more so than they've been given credit for. They are quite social and socialist animals. By socialist I mean they have the system down. "Take me in oh pretty human. Feed me, clothe me, keep me safe. I'll cherish you forever if you treat me right." In return for what they take they will give. They are there to comfort when humans aren't. I laugh every day in a good way at the silly feral that moved into my apartment this past winter. He didn't want to die and decided we had a trust, barely on a string, but we have one. He's elderly now and has been on a "death" watch by the neighbors and me the past two winters. He doesn't fare them well outside. I guess this winter it got so cold he chose survival. I won't argue with the way of cats. I've found them to know much more than I do. And problems oh I understand those. I've had plenty. But the kitties again gave that comfort when no one else was there. Maybe that's all they want to do ... give you comfort. Let them.

They get to come out supervised now. There’s another dog here that chases them a bit and two rabbits who don’t have a top on their cage and I don’t trust my cats lol. So they get a fair bit of exercise when I’m home. But again, I had to keep them locked out at night in our old house. It’s just the way these but heads are I guess

Can anyone please give me recommendations on a HIT timer - just to see how much time I actually spent on a HIT is what I care about. I don't where my script went and I can't find it on Greasy Fork. Thank you.
