I bought a bottle of hydrogen peroxide before the pandemic hit and have no idea what to do with it .

ditto. i bought it at the store because there was no isopropyl alcohol 70% or better and found out hydrogen peroxide does not seem to be a super aggressive disinfectant. i guess that explains why i can sometimes still find bottles at the store.

I use it as a mouth rinse in the evening and to disinfect my toothbrushes. It used to be you would pour it on cuts but it is actually a little too damaging to skin to recommend doing that. You can use it on unbroken skin to take care of fungus on your feet.

It's also a component of throat spray/mop(old technique) for dealing with strep throat. H2O2=peroxide=carbolic acid was the disinfectant most used in hospitals at one time. Not used as a cleaner now...and now hospitals are full of strep. I remember a cousin, who was a nurse, of my mother, talking about how the student nurses were tasked with scrubbing the floors/walls with the stuff. Not any more.

You could smell it when you walked in the door. That and alcohol. They knew what they were doing then. People didn't die at a rate of 33 percent in hospitals of strep infections.
