are eggs/butter/milk vegetarian?

products of animals made without killing the animal or consuming their flesh, are still considered vegetarian.
this shows that it has nothing to do with morality, or wanting to reduce harm to those specific animals
(the exception being those who do not realize how terrible our egg systems are, or our dairy system)
as milk is something that can be made without necessarily harming the animal (regardless of the harm that actually DOES happen, both mental and physical), it is vegetarian.
another example is honey.
none of these are considered vegan because they required the work of an animal.

(for future reference, refined sugar is also not vegan/vegetarian, since bone char is used in the process. we are a disgusting people.)
