I had over 150000 HITs before I got it, and many others have several million and no masters. Don't look for it. You can't collect and trade for it like green stamps. It just happens --sorta like a comet hitting Yucatan.

I suppose a bunch of y'all don't know what S&H Green Stamps were......sigh. I'm old.

I have a similar circumstance. Turking for 10 years, no Masters. For a long time, there seemed to be a consensus among Turkers that being granted Masters was more arbitrary than logical or whatever. In the past few years, Turkers started talking about Masters as if they knew what they had done to earn it, and what others needed to do to get it. But there's always people who are like, "I DID those things and I still can't get it!". So I don't know, still seems random to me.
