Meddle is far and away my favorite Floyd album, purely on the strength of Echoes and One of These Days. But I really collect live shows, been into them for years. Anything from 70-72 is gold. Pre-Dark Side, with Obscured by Clouds stuff, that's my kind of Floyd show! I also really dig the proto-Animals stuff from 74-75.

Meddle is far and away my favorite Floyd album, purely on the strength of Echoes and One of These Days. But I really collect live shows, been into them for years. Anything from 70-72 is gold. Pre-Dark Side, with Obscured by Clouds stuff, that's my kind of Floyd show! I also really dig the proto-Animals stuff from 74-75.

There are very few duds in their catalog up through to the early 80s. Very few. I am more partial to More (edit or whatever its official name is) and Ummagumma but that's just bc those were my entry points to their wizardry. Any easily accessible live shows you can recommend (not necessarily from that period)?

Meddle is fantastic, the first half has this mellow, ethereal, Summer feel ( Except for One of These Days of course), that makes me nostalgic for no time in particular, but it just gives me that feeling.
