I might not have gaydar, but have something similar. It's "Paydar", an intuitive grasp of knowing if a requester pays fairly, born of long experience.

Just saw a study on prolific paying .12 for 12 mins! That's gotta be the lowest paying job I've seen on there

and was posted as a 1 minute study until people working it clocked in at 12 mins. surprised prolific has not implemented a rule to suspend the hit from being worked if average time of actual completion by the first few workers times pay is less than 5 pounds per hour.

also annoying to get the emails from Jim that there are studies i can do. usually i know but refuse to do them as they are underpaying or far too long for my current mood so i'm ignoring doing those and waiting for better pay ones.
