UHRS is a crowdsourcing platform with a variety of tasks geared mainly towards search engine refining and optimization. As far as I know, it is related to Microsoft and Bing. UHRS can be accessed through Clickworker, Appen, iSoftStone (to some degree) and possibly other sites.

I personally have only used it through Clickworker, so I don't have information on how to sign up through any other site. They only want you to work through one platform, so if you have an account with one platform it may be difficult or impossible to get one through another.

In the past, it has been open to international workers as well as those in the US. They sometimes close qualifications, depending on the current workflow.

More information later, hopefully.

Yes, UHRS is an exclusively Microsoft platform, used to run tasks that help improve Bing results as well as other random things they might want to research. Much of their stuff can only be done in Internet Explorer (they might have eased up on that recently, I'm not sure, but it was like that for years). IIRC they have 'spam scores' on the UHRS tasks that they up when they think you're going to fast or not getting their golden questions right or whatever, very similar to ProductRnR (one reason people deduced RNR likely is for Microsoft/Bing too).

Here's what I posted in the MTG UHRS thread:

Background info for people who don't already know this: UHRS (Universal Human Relevance System) is Microsoft's private platform for tasks to improve their Bing search engine results. People access work on it by signing up with, and getting paid through, one of several subcontract companies - sometimes as a come-and-go-as-you-please contractor, sometimes as a more employee-type arrangement with a certain quantity of dedicated hours required. One of the more well-known come-and-go-as-you-please companies is Clickworker; they ostensibly may offer other avenues of work besides UHRS, but UHRS is pretty much all they've had for quite some time, from what I've heard. Another company is Appen, with both types of arrangements. I think Lionbridge also offers the employee-type arrangement.

There's a subreddit here for worker discussions: https://www.reddit.com/r/UHRSwork/

Here's a good 'getting started' overview: workonlinewebsites.weebly.com/reviews/up-to-10-and-hour-clickworker-review-rating-proof-an-tips

And you (turkfactor) added:

" To access jobs at UHRS [after signing up through one of their 'gateway' companies such as Clickworker], you have to go to this link:
https://prod.uhrs.playmsn.com/Judge/Views/LogIn
If that doesn't work, you may still need to do another qualification or complete your profile. It's been too long for me to remember all the steps, but here are a couple links that might help:
https://www.reddit.com/r/WorkOnline/comments/2atr2k/clickworker_uhrs_guide_how_to_get_started_and/
https://www.reddit.com/r/UHRSwork/ "

Another tidbit I posted in the other thread: Clickworker is a German company, Clickworker GMBH. Legal | clickworker.com

I have been trying to sign up for Clickworkers for half a year now. Always closed to U.S when I have tried. I have read there is practically no work. Any one lucky enough to have an account from the U.S that can shed some insight if there is still a drought?

I haven't heard of anyone having problems signing up for Clickworker before. Do you mean UHRS, by chance?
(if so)
They close US qualifications periodically, so if you've already read through the information and links Clickhappier posted, completed your profile, and passed all the assessments, the best you can do is check back once in a while and see if they open it up. You can set up a Page Monitor (Plus) on it, or something of the sort.

I got in with iSoftStone. I just applied for the crowd worker position but they said you can also submit your resume to see if they have a position for you.
I was hoping the pay would be more like MTurk, but the welcome email said they pay twice a month with a 10 day review on your work from the pay period. So, like real work.
I have done LeapForce before and that seems to have block you from any other Google web judging, so happy to find this. Will update on the pay. Today is my first day checking it out.

Yes, please update us! :)
So my UHRS contract with iSoftStone ended in January. They canceled my account for "quality control reasons" aka I was bad at something but they didn't say what. I miss it. It basically let me ignore MTurk for a while, which I find to be a ADD nightmare. It is like having your own private batches. I got paid 2x a month via direct deposit. They didn't offer direct deposit, but they will set you up with it if you ask. One thing I did not like is that adult websites would sometimes show up in tasks that were not marked adult. I don't want to see that and I have my kids home so I found that annoying.

I got an email from Appen Global and I think it is for the same work. I will see if they will let me on through there.

Is clickworker normally extremely slow to load? I just signed up and I'm working on the first assessment and it takes like 10 seconds to load each page after I hit save/next...
