I know lots of you are super crafty and make cool stuff. Show it all to me!

I am not the craftiest person (though I'd really like to pick up embroidery), but sometimes I get down with Hallowe'en costumes.

Like the year my younger sons were the Aquabats.

Or the Red X costume I made for my oldest (he wore it a total of three times, and never once did anyone recognize him. He was very sad no one in our neighbourhood was familiar with Teen Titans.

Show me what you're working on! Do you crochet? Knit? Make dream catchers out of cat fur? I want to see!

Everything I make is crochet. It will basically all look the same, lol. I have sweaters, wraps, afghans, ponchos, fingerless gloves (one I made the pattern for), and scarves I can upload but it's all crochet, so boring!

LOL. Ok, when I get home I'll model them and have son take a pic of them (and now that I think of it...where the eff are they?...hm...) I have to finish something at work then I'll upload pics of a few other things, including the spiderweb gloves I made for myself for Halloween the year I went dressed as a spiderweb.

Wow, that must be some tiny cross-stitch stitches! In that photo it looks more like, I don't know, a painting? :)

Tagging Tjololo @Tjololo in case he wants to post his crochet Dalek and stuff again. :)
I think the frame is 18"x24"? It took me over a year to finish it.

I don't actually have any pictures of my stuff right now. I mean, I shared a picture that I colored on MTG a while back, but that's it. I've crocheted a hat for me, which I don't like much, a hat for the baby, which I do love, a scarf for my mom which was kinda meh, but whatever, and am making a scarf for a friend with shitty yarn that she picked out that I can't see the stitches in so it's a boring DC scarf and not something fun. I'm also making myself this scarf in purple for the solid bit and.. idk yet for the lace bit. The yarn I originally wanted to use for the lace bit doesn't really match, so.. time to pick something different.

I also made a big fluffy scarf on a knit hand loom or whatever you want to call it. It came out *okay*. I used three strands of yarn and there were a lot of missed stitches sometimes.

Roughly 90 percent of the crafty stuff I do is for cosplay. Right now I'm working on a Pip Boy. At this point it's nothing more than a coffee container and an old watering can thing. I can tell it's going to take a really long time and a lot of futzing with it before it starts to look right, but I'm starting with just the basic shape and working from there.
EDIT- Here's a picture.

Not having known what that was, I found this amusing story when I looked it up. (The game company made a smartphone-holding Pip-Boy to bundle with a special edition release.)

So cool you cosplay! I really want to dress up for my local Comic Con but have no sewing skills to speak of.

EDIT

These are much better than that first one. I'm even pretty sure that 1/5 are dead on.

I'm mainly a knitter, but dabble in other things, as well. My daughter has always had homemade Halloween costumes. Here are a couple of recent ones:
