happiness is seeing two emails from different requesters with quick follow-up surveys and getting to do them without any competition from the turkoverse to catch them.

One requester even emailed back and said they noticed I did it and thanked me for doing the followup.

Have you met dogs? They'd manage to pull them out, swallow them and choke somehow. #notalldogs but a lot of them would.

Don't get me wrong, I am a human. I think dogs are adorable. Seems like a lot of them aren't very smart though.
exactly why I don't think dogs are as smart as cats. Dogs mindlessly do practically everything commanded to them and they even need constant attention (I think I read they want so much loving and attention because when they get it, it releases a feel-good chemical in them).

Cats, on the other hand, run it by the committee in their head to see if they want to do it or just tell their owners to don't bug them. When they want something or to give their owner some moments of pleasure, they'll do it on their timeline.

My favorite joke: Dogs come when you call them, cats have an answering machine.

Croma Lab looks kind of gross. Not sure I'm feeling this today. Anybody have any insight one way or another?

Yes, to some extent, usually when something is fairly new. I wonder why that fades some as time goes on.
i could give you a evolutionary psych answer for this, which is basically that novelty is good for the survival of the species because it means seeing new people and spreading your seed (for men) further or having access to higher quality partners (for men and women) with more choice but most people scoff at evo psych these days.

I know what you mean. Cats are the same way. I put a sweater on my oldest cat and he's been eating his way out of it over the last couple weeks. I'm surprised he hasn't been pooping green and white threads in the litter box.

You can go to HITs tab and then click the number of reviews next to the particular HIT title to see some other opinions.
Right. I was kind of hoping for the opinions of people I might have actually spoken to before, so thanks for answering. :)
If you've got the $5, looks like decent hourly if you like writing
I do like writing, but not for $5. Have fun, whoever gets it. *throws back*

Hey everyone - Now that the server infrastructure has all been upgraded and I've documented everything, I'm officially handing over the server admin duties to Metallica @Metallica so let him know if you have any troubles with anything server related. I've given him access to the hosting provider account and CDN provider account as well as access to the DNS, not that you should need to worry about that.

From here on out, it's out of my hands.

It's been a pleasure, best of luck.

Scribbles is dumb as heck. I love the cat, but he's just a dumb cat. He does chase his tail though, which is super cute.

edit: this only somewhat related to your post, but it sounds like something Scribbles would do

...for some reason I want really, really badly to think cats are smarter than dogs. I'll add this story to the list of stories I have to remind myself that's not necessarily true.
