I was curious to how other turkers ate their steak/beef/meat/etc? Are you a steak well done guy? Or more of a medium well person?

Do you have any favorite spots to go for a nice steak?

What's the last thing you bbq'd?

I'm a medium guy myself, but I'm ok with anything between rare and well done.

I'm pretty much the same. I don't want it too well done, but also not too rare. Sometimes restaurants have a hard time finding that perfect balance

My answer is I don't, but I'm glad this thread exists and I like the title.

I live in New York, so it's either hipstery 25 dollars a plate for a quarter rack of ribs or a night spent at Dallas BBQ. That's about the only thing I miss about the Midwest/South.

Yeah the South has amazing BBQ. Nothing beats a nice bbq steak, chicken or ribs

I like to eat my steak rare and plain and with my hands. Of course not when I'm in public. I have to pretend to be civilized.
I don't mind rare as long as it's not too too red. I know a couple friends who like theirs a bit bloody. Too rare for me

There really is a thread for everything!

I don't eat steak. I only cook it for my kid who adores steak. So I won't be much help unless you want to know how to cook steak .

The fatty brisket at Franklin BBQ in Austin is the best BBQ I've ever had and it was so absolutely crazy amazing that I fully expect to live out the rest of my life without ever encountering a better brisket.

I try to limit the amount of red meat I eat and usually don't buy it... but if steak is on sale I will sometimes give in. I like my steak medium personally, though I will eat it well done because most people in my family like it that way. The only other red meat I really like is (fried) pork chops and ribs.

The best place I've ever had steak at was this really fancy, upscale place in the Florida Keys. It cost about $80 per person and it's a gourmet restaurant that serves you a ton of different cuts of steak. The staff bring each cut of meat out and serve it at the table to your specifications. I wish I could remember what it was called. *drool*

turkleton @turkleton

I got this from Betty Crocker for a meat loaf recipe. I read over it and I said "yes this sounds okay for my bro"
