That hit will have a mob of people racing to do it, despite the reward.

As a mother with an adult child who has suffered all her life also, maybe its not that you can't work a "normal job" but that just like online schooling vs brick and mortar.and how it has changed to being more acceptable over the last 20 years, you are just more advanced than others in the type of job you do. I have worked many jobs and find Turking to be just as demanding as many I have done.
The world now recognizes that not everyone fits in the 9 to 5 grind.

I'm going to bed. G'night, E.Illness

One last thought: the job is demanding, but the hours are more flexible than conventional jobs. And if you're not feeling well or you want a week off, you don't have to account to anyone. Tht's the part I like.

'night

Yeah, 9 to 5 just doesn't work for me. It's too restricting and I end up having multiple panic attacks daily. It really negatively effects my mental health.

Sounds like my daughter and I suffer from them also. The stigma about mental illness is getting better but it is still important for people to realize that its not just that you can be a productive member of society, but that you already are. I always say that I wish when a child is born, the hospitals when give out information on childhood mental illness just like they do physical illness. When caught early, anything is easier to treat. Sorry about my rant but I feel that those with mental illness should be treated just like those with any illness like diabetes ect.

I totally agree! I'm 22 and only now starting to understand what all I'm affected by. Granted, it's a long list, but knowing helps me know how to better take care of myself.

I will get off my soapbox now but even though I don't post a lot, this forum is a great place. I have noticed a wide acceptance of different people and almost anyone here will listen to you if needed. Welcome to the forum.
