I don't trust the site. But it does say it quotes CNN in that middle darkened section. I haven't heard anything about this but am in the midwest but I don't want to anyone unprepared or get caught in a scramble at the pump.

Then I guess there's something to it. I listened to news early this morning for the national stuff but not CNN. Didn't hear anything about this and haven't seen it elsewhere. This is the first I saw and wouldn't of mentioned it except they did quote CNN. Or claim too.

Hmmm....haven't verified this and don't listen to news enough to know but if you live in the states mentioned in this article you might to fill up the tank and go to the grocery store for the weekend needs.

i mean to be fair, iirc the native american protests weren't covered by national media as well until it got major social media coverage.

Okay thanks. It was just the first I've seen it and I've been in hurricanes and gas lines. Like I said, just don't want to see anyone unprepared. Top off the tank if you can and get what groceries you need. Usually the grocery stores get a run on by folks at the first warning. Been through enough hurricane warnings to know how that goes and then nothing happens but you got your stuff for the next time.

Yes, it's a sort of conspiracy site that I somehow signed up for email for. Most of the stuff I ignore but this didn't sound made up. They do send out warnings from time to time as they wait for the apocolypse.
