I've been scouring the interwebs for different guide and forums to get myself going. I just hit day 12 today and figured I'd say hello, finally!

I already work from home, 8 hour shifts 5 days a week. I saw on /r/beermoney other people making upwards of $1200 solely on mturk and needed to try it out! I tried doing some other little things like Perk and checking out some other crowdsourcing/survey websites but didn't feel as comfortable as I did with mturk. They were either a little more confusing or just not paying enough for me to care.

So far I've found panda crazy and hitscraper that have made everything a TON easier. I also ran into the Scraper app, going to test this out as well when I'm out at my boyfriends and he's watching football :) yay.

One thing I was wondering about so far, I tried going at some batches (p9r) and I guess it took me about 30-60 seconds to get through one HIT, I could not justify making $.30 in 10-15 minutes...just with how much I am making with the $.50+ surveys I don't really understand.

I used p9r HITs with Panda crazy and really liked that, so far I'm not seeing too many batch HITs that are more than $.01 or if I do they all have captchas that stop PandaCrazy

Overall I've loved my experience with Mturk and can't wait to hit the 500, 1000 and 2000 mark!!!

There are good batches and bad batches. p9r hits ain't so great, most people only do them when they're new and they're trying to get their numbers up.

So now I know your next question will be, "Well can you tell me what the good batches are?" and that's a tough question to answer. A lot of them are behind closed qualifications or they're batches that pop up and get totally gobbled up in 15 minutes. Figuring out the good batches mostly comes with experience. Mturk is easier than it used to be thanks to tools like hit scraper but there's still a significant learning curve.

I've seen this asked enough times with the same response, haha I wasn't even going to ask! I actually just found a really good batch since posting this! This forum can be a gold mine, I see...
