I quit smoking 6 years ago, after having smoked for 7. That means I started at 13. I know what it's like and I want you to know that it does get easier. Find something (besides being a dick) to fill the void and it will help so much. I had my last cigarette the day before my wedding. She was my driving force to better myself, you need to find yours. You can do it!
I just went back and found his post. I missed it Sunday.I don't know how much I'm allowed to speak about it here, but he's ok. We're going to push through it and get him better. He's a tough dude, which is a huge part of why I fell in love with him. It was a really rough weekend, but it's over now and everything is gonna be ok

You just have to want to quit man, no one can make you want to quit. Just think of how many nickel hits youre saving by quitting.
Hang in there! I've ditched nicotine before (more than once) and it is so frikking hard. Currently in the slooooowwwww process of ditching it AGAIN after YEARS without it. But my kid is catching on and disapproving so that is making it a bit easier. "Mom, why do you keep going out to the garage?"
